TrackTown20 Competition Finals
Following the publication of the competition schedule for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field, TrackTown USA is excited to announce that the first wave of single-day tickets for the event will go on-sale to the public on September 24, 2019.
This phase of ticket sales, which will feature only single-day tickets, will be open from 9 a.m. Pacific time on September 24 until 5 p.m. Pacific time on October 31. All tickets sold in this phase will be attached to permanent seating and customers will be able to pick their exact seat at the time of purchase. A maximum of eight (8) tickets per day can be purchased per customer. Prices for single-day tickets will be released soon. Tickets for sections of temporary seating on the north end of the stadium will be available for purchase in 2020.
The competition schedule for the 2020 Olympic Trials can be found here. The meet will be held June 19–28, 2020 at a state-of-the-art Hayward Field at the University of Oregon. This will be the seventh time that the U.S. Olympic Trials will be staged in TrackTown USA, with over 1,000 Olympic-hopeful athletes competing for their chance to represent the United States at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Several featured events will be free to the public. The qualifying rounds of the men’s and women’s shot put (which will take place on June 19 and June 25, respectively) will be free, enabling broader access to the event and the stadium. The men’s and women’s hammer throw will occur on June 24, one of the traditional rest days during the event. On that day, there will be free access into Hayward Field to watch the competition. Finally, the 20km race walk will be contested on June 27 in the streets of Springfield, Oregon, where spectators will be able to line the course to cheer on the athletes.
The U.S. Olympic Trials is the world’s largest and best track meet outside of the Olympic Games and the IAAF World Championships and is a collaboration between the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and USA Track & Field (USATF). TrackTown USA will serve as the local organizing committee for the event.
Between September 24 and October 31, you will be able buy single-day tickets online at TrackTown20.com, by calling 1-800-WEBFOOT (1-800-932-3668), or in person at the University of Oregon Athletics ticket office at Autzen Stadium (2727 Leo Harris Parkway, Eugene, OR 97403).
