Greifeld, the chairman of the NASDAQ stock exchange, is a lifelong track and field fan. He has also served as founder and chairman of the USATF Foundation since 2004, an organization which has raised millions of dollars to support elite and developing U.S. track and field athletes. Along with the second primary investor, Silicon Valley venture capitalist Pitch Johnson, he has led the charge in turning the TrackTown Summer Series vision into a reality.
