The Pac-12 meet features many of the top cross country programs in the nation. The top-ranked Ducks head the women’s field, followed closely by #3 Colorado, #13 Washington and #14 Stanford. Washington junior Amy-Eloise Neale returns to defend her individual title, along with three other top-five finishers from last season – Colorado’s Dani Jones (3rd) and Kaitlyn Benner (4th) and UO sophomore Katie Rainsberger (5th).
On the men’s side, fifth-ranked Colorado has won six straight league titles since joining the Pac-12 in 2011, matching Stanford’s win streak from 2000-05. The Buffaloes face stiff competition from four other top-20 squads in its quest for a record-setting seventh title in a row – #6 Stanford, #8 Oregon, #14 UCLA and #20 Washington State. Stanford junior Grant Fisher is the top returning individual after earning runner-up honors last year.
